Description

Located on Georgetown Island and accessible by car, this is the only waterfront, self-service facility on the Maine Coast operated by the Appalachian Mountain Club. With views of the bay, the large, off-grid, two-story post-and-beam cabin sleeps up to 15 people. For renters that prefer to sleep outdoors, there is a pair of tent platforms and ample open space around the cabin. Stairs lead to a beach where it is possible to launch or tie up boats for the evening. The cabin is rented to one group at a time for their use only. Parking, fresh water, and the boat launch are for the exclusive use of cabin renters and Beal Island
campers between check-in and check-out of their rental stay. For more information or to make a reservation, [click here](https://www.amckbc.org). No pets.
