This [Town of Kittery](http://www.kitteryme.gov/) property is located on the west shore of Spruce Creek, roughly a mile north of its mouth at the upper reaches of Portsmouth Harbor. It offers a quiet place to picnic or rest with pleasant views and good wildlife watching. Reachable by water at all tides, it is open for day use only. Overnight camping and fires are not permitted. This property is wild and unimproved, with no bathrooms or other facilities of any kind. There are no trash receptacles, all trash must be carried out.
