Description
This 19-acre preserve owned by [Portland Trails](https://trails.org/) includes a short walking trail that offers several highlights for visitors. The property features old rock walls from bygone farming days, a unique view of the Portland skyline, and a series of ponds that are remnants of an attempted ship-servicing canal built during the civil war. The property was purchased in 2014 and is named in honor of Roger Berle, a leader in Maine conservation efforts. Accessible at the top half of the tide only. Day use only, no fires.
