Description
Located in Seal Harbor, tucked in between Sprucehead and Rackliff Islands, Cylends (labeled Slins on the chart) is a small island with sea heather and lichen-topped rocks, with limited dry area for camping. This island sees frequent day use by the local community; this traditional use should be respected.
There is a small clearing suitable for a tent in the center of the island, and accessible from the western shoreline. Please keep a respectful distance from the osprey nest that is toward the northern end of the island facing Rackliff.
